Barmedman is a small rural village in the Bland Shire in New South Wales Australia.
It is the home of two large wheat silos with over a million bushels combined and the Barmedman Mineral Pool which is open from November to April each year.
Mineral Pool is at the end of the main street, with free camping with beautifully maintaned grounds and ammenities recently upgraded.
Barmedman is a great place to visit or live.
We have good NBN, our businesses are on the main highway so residents enjoy quick postal services, a friendly well stocked general store, giftwares, cafe, a takeaway and beautiful accommodation for the travellers and of course good old fashioned country australian hospitality.
Our schools facilities are second to none with an astounding teacher to student ratio.
From November to April each year, its pretty hot in Barmedman so if you plan to visit, set aside some time to take a dip in the Barmedman Mineral Pool!
There were Christmas Carols at the pool last year and a fantastic Australia Day event each year - all welcome.
There are drinks available each evening at the Barmedman Bowling Club with inexpensive country style meals available on Friday nights and a petrol station with very competitively priced fuel.
The Barmedman modified Tractor Pull and Show and Shine is a great weekend out.
Barmedman is 31km from West Wyalong and 36km from Temora - both less than 30 minutes away.
